Beauty is something that everyone would like to pursue. But what if the standard of beauty is getting “ugly”?
This project is a site-specific installation which tries to critically reveal the issue of ugly beauty (sick standards and obsessions of beauty) in today’s society and how it is continuously brainwashing us and manipulating our perception of beauty.
When big double-eyelid eyes, v-shape face, wasp waist, skinny legs, etc. become the new standard of beauty; when beauties around us almost look the same, do we all need to go back to “the factories” and reset our body?
